As part of its mission to promote digital professions and innovation in Côte d’Ivoire and across Africa, the Village of Information Technologies and Biotechnology (VITIB) marked its presence as an official sponsor of two major exhibitions:

These events, held from February 20 to 21, 2025 in Abidjan, enabled VITIB to strengthen its position as a leading technology hub in West Africa.

VITIB at the heart of Africa’s strategic innovation
The first edition of SIADE, hosted at the Abidjan Exhibition Center, brought together international experts, young talents, and institutional partners around key issues related to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and space exploration.
As a sponsor, VITIB reaffirmed its commitment to democratizing digital professions and driving digital transformation across Africa. Its booth attracted numerous visitors eager to learn more about the services, opportunities, and tax advantages offered by the Grand-Bassam Technological Free Zone.
During a notable presentation, VITIB showcased investment opportunities for tech companies within the zone, while highlighting Côte d’Ivoire’s strengths as a digital investment destination.
SIIPA 2025: Pharmaceutical Innovation and Technology
VITIB, a catalyst for biotech and pharmaceutical industry in Africa
Held at the Radisson Blu in Abidjan, the International Exhibition on Pharmaceutical Innovation in Abidjan (SIIPA 2025) focused on the theme: “Pharmaceutical Innovations: Contribution to the Implementation of One Health.”
Bringing together more than 400 participants (researchers, startups, investors, pharmacists, etc.), the event served as a key platform for stakeholders in biotechnology and digital health.
VITIB presented its 20-hectare pharmaceutical hub dedicated to hosting industries in pharmaceuticals, agri-food, and biotechnology. To date, six pharmaceutical companies are established within the Grand-Bassam Free Zone:
