On Monday, May 19, 2025, the Village of Information Technologies and Biotechnology (VITIB) actively participated in the National Conference on Artificial Intelligence, held at the Latrille venue and organized by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Digitalization.
This major event brought together a broad governmental representation, renowned experts, and young Ivorian talents, all gathered around the central theme: “Artificial Intelligence: Ivorian Youth at the Heart of the Digital Revolution.”
This conference established itself as a key platform for dialogue and reflection on the crucial challenges related to artificial intelligence, particularly its impact on the country’s economic, social, and technological development. VITIB, as a major player in innovative technologies, took this opportunity to reaffirm its unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence.
At the heart of the discussions, Ivorian youth were unanimously recognized as a key driver of the country’s digital transformation. Furthermore, this meeting highlighted a flagship project announced by H.E.M. Robert Beugré Mambé, Prime Minister of Côte d’Ivoire: the upcoming construction of the “Innovation City” in Grand-Bassam.
